Caravanserai

Image Hosting by PictureTrail.com

The flute player is calling travellers, luring them with her sweet music to come and join her on a magical caravanserai expedition. The tour will take travellers to new and old Silk Road destinations and introduce new characters. The path leads through the Mountains of Myrrh towards the House of the Serpents and patient camels wait to take their hosts. Can you resist the call?

Have a wonderful, safe journey Lois. The camels will head out on December 2 so I think you will be back by then. Whatever! Your camel will be waiting for you.

Have a good holiday, Lois
and, as for your invitation, dear le enchanter:
" A camel's all lumpy and humpy and bumpy
any shape does for me" says and old piece. Is this why you asked if I could draw camels? I am not at all sure the Boss Donkey will approve. Cheers, the Secretary

I can't resist the call either, to visit the old places on the road. I have visited a caravanserai - they are and were wonderful places - a fabulous institution

In my visable world it is 10 degrees above zero and the call to desert can not be resisted. I am preparing in my cell. Please send an invitation, Jane

Darling Enchantress: I have many irons in the fire at present, so may not be able to join you on the entire caravanserai, but if travelers are heading to the bathhouse, cue me in and I'll wake up Eclectica. I will take an invitation and will check in from time to time to add my two cents!

I have never ridden a camel, an elephant, yes, but never a camel. I wonder how I'll manage atop of what looks to me to be an ungainly creature. I shall have to hang on for dear life.
